To be honest, I don't recall exactly if the year I quoted is correct, whether it was that year (1988)or the year before. Dave, his family and mine went for a ski vacation in Whistler together in the timeshare we(Linda, my wife and me) had just bought. Since it was a big unit and sleeps more than two families, we invited Dave and his family along. His two kids were sleeping on the balcony above the living room and we were sharing baby sitting amongst us with us () having a little baby daughter. The vacation was great and we had a good time, enjoying Dave's humor and sharing the good times. During that time Dave was working with me on a team at Boeing developing a new "fuel gage" or "Fuel Quantity Measuring System" as it was officially called. He provided valuable engineering support during this period of his life and was well loved by all the members of the team. He helped me often, supporting me to correct my English, since it is not my mother tongue. He was the quiet person on the team, never bragging and doing quietly what hat to be done, but sharing the success selfishness with the team. I had hoped to meet with him now, since I retired, and share memories of the good old times. It was just a few weeks ago that I thought to find out how to contact him and I regret not having it done. He will live in my memories and those of my family on.
